Highway Technician

Position Overview:

As a Highway AutoCAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of highway and roadway projects. Working closely with our engineering team, you will use your expertise in AutoCAD to create detailed drawings, and plans that adhere to project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Utilise AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts for highway and roadway projects, including alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and signage.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Conduct quality checks to verify that drawings meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including quantity take-offs and material specifications.
• Coordinate with other members of the design team to ensure seamless integration of various design elements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to highway design and AutoCAD software.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with at least [X] years of experience in highway or transportation design.
