The role will involve leading the development of preliminary and detailed designs, supported by the existing team, providing technical expertise within the team and contributing to the future growth of the business. Requirements:
·A good standard relevant degree, or a postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering or a suitable level of professional experience to demonstrate capability.
·A good skill level and experience designing highways drainage, SuDS raingardens and swales.
·A good level of professional work experience with Highway Authorities, with London experience highly desirable.
·A working knowledge of highway standards, guidance and an understanding of CDM regulations.
·Good written and spoken English.
 
Additionally, the following skills / experience would be considered beneficial:
·Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D to support level design.
·Experience with other software packages, i.e.:
oMICRODRAINAGE
oINFODRAINAGE
oSIGNPLOT
·Project management.
·Ability to lead others and mentor junior team members
