Your Role:

You will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on a wide array of neurological conditions. Our hospital boasts a dedicated neurological rehabilitation unit where you'll collaborate daily with leading specialists in the field.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
• Additional academic development relevant to your clinical field is desirable
• Extensive postgraduate experience in neurorehabilitation at a senior level within the UK (Private or NHS)
• Essential experience in tracheostomy management and acute neurological cases like acute stroke
• Desirable experience in ICU rehabilitation and splinting within a neurological setting

What You'll Do:

• Apply specialized skills in assessing and treating physical, cognitive, and functional deficits
• Manage complex postural issues and seating
• Retrain activities of daily living (ADL) and engage in complex discharge planning
• Collaborate with expert Consultants
• Deliver expert training to fellow occupational therapy professionals
• Identify potential safety issues within the clinical setting
• Apply specialist knowledge and evidence-based techniques in neurorehabilitation
