Highly Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist The Royal London Hospital is the tertiary Neurosciences and Major Trauma centre for North East London and Essex. It is a specialist centre for Stroke and home to one of eight designated hyper-acute stroke units (HASUs) in London. Barts Health is also working towards Tessa Jowell accreditation in brain tumour treatment with a strong focus onquality of life.An exciting opportunity has arisen for innovative and motivated Physiotherapists to join our Band 7 Neuro-Physiotherapy rotation through the below areas of specialism:o Hyper Acute Stroke unit and Acute Stroke Unit (HASU/ASU).o Neuro Trauma / Neurosciences including Neuromuscular & Motor Neuron Disease outpatient clinics.o Neuro Trauma / Neurosciences including Neuro-oncology.o Rapid Access to Acute Rehabilitation Unit (RAAR) - Level 1 equivalent rehabilitation.This rotation will give you the opportunity to work as a highly specialised physiotherapist as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a seamless integrated model of care and rehabilitation in line with our WeCare values and behaviours.You will support and be supported by your Clinical Lead and fellow Band 7 staff as well as providing leadership and supervision to other members of the team.
