Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Southampton

Starting February 19th on a long-term contract

Pay: £80 - £90 per day

Hours: 08:30  - 15:30

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and trained HLTA seeking a new role? Do you have experience working with KS1? Would you be looking to working at an Ofsted “Good” rated school?

Job Description:

• Working within a year 2 classroom
• Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support
• Occasionally leading lessons
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Pay: Daily Rate (£80-£85)
• Location: Close to central Southampton
• Start Date: May 27th 2024
• Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
• Hours: Full time

Individual Profile:

• Good subject knowledge required
• HLTA certification
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Intervention experience preferred
