Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Located minutes from Highbury & Islington station this forward thinking Primary School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The role will involve supporting students across all three primary Key Stages (EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2) on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and the whole class.

What the role will involve:

• Work closely with class teachers and schools SLT to deliver interventions in core subjects to individuals and small groups of students and at times provide whole class cover.

What you need to apply for the HLTA position:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working in a Primary School setting
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Key Stages curriculum
• An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service or happy to apply for a DBS
