HGV Technician

Full Time / Permanent

Location: Yeovil

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Shift: Alternate shifts 06:00am – 14:00pm Monday – Friday Week 1, 14:00pm – 22:00pm Week 2. With 2 Saturdays every month.

Our Client have been a trusted name in the automotive industry for over 50 years and are looking for a highly skilled, highly motivated HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in Yeovil

HGV Technician Role

* Conduct routine maintenance checks on HGVs to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with HGVs using diagnostic equipment.

* Perform repairs and replacements on faulty parts, such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems.

* Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections according to manufacturer guidelines.

* Test HGVs after repairs to ensure they meet safety standards and perform effectively.

HGV Technician Role Requirements.

* Proven experience working on HGV Trucks (minimum 4 years)

* Level 3 qualifications or equivalent working on HGV Trucks

* Driving License
