Our client in the Logistics industry are looking for an additional HGV Mechanic to help manage repairs�and services to their large fleet of heavy goods vehicles. You will take responsibility for repairs, diagnostics, maintenance and enhancements for a large group of vehicles, keeping them in line with health and safety measures.�
The role will involve working night shifts.�
The role and responsibilities:
- Maintenance of company HGVs, keeping to time deadlines where applicable.�
- Assisting with breakdowns and reactive works, within given time frames. Completing repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.�
- Diagnostic work - as a HGV Mechanic you will be expected to accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.�
- You will document any work completed on each vehicle.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a HGV Mechanic / Technician role, in a fast-paced company.�
- The HGV Mechanic will need to hold at least and NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent. CPC desirable.�
- Flexibility in regards to shift patterns - you will need to work night shifts.�
