HGV Mechanic Norwich

HGV Mechanic - Norwich - Ongoing Role - Must have City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent

Salary: £22 per hour, on an LTD company basis. Overtime is available on Saturday between 0800 and 1200.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-17:30
• 30-minute break (unpaid)

Silver Arrow is currently recruiting for an HGV mechanic to work for our client based in Norwich on an ongoing basis.

Your Role:

• Interpret the instructions from the job card or repair order and comply with the repair instructions.
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Provide information, maintain records, and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
• Abide by good health and safety practices and all statutory requirements, including company policies.

What we need from you:

• You must have City and Guilds Level 3 experience in a related sector (trucks, agriculture, for example).
• Workshop/dealership experience is essential.
• You will need to have a positive 'can do' attitude and great communication skills.
• Full Clean Driving Licence
