Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Bridgewater/Glastonbury. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK, mainly tramping.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods safely and efficiently across the UK


• Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines


• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness


• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner


• Comply with all relevant legislation and company policies and procedures


• Maintain good communication with customers and colleagues

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence


• Must have Tramping experience


• Have a valid CPC and Digi Card


• Have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Class 1 Driver


• Have a good understanding of UK road networks and driving regulations


• Be able to work independently and as part of a team


• Have good communication and customer service skills


• Be flexible with working hours and willing to stay away from home when required
