Hgv Class 1 Driver

LOCATION: Widnes, Rotherham, Pollington

* PAY: £16.59 including holidays (£27 Night Out)

This job will require you to start out of various locations, Widnes, Rotherham or Pollington. Travel between sites is compensated.

Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV tramping drivers on behalf of our client in Widnes - Halton, this is on an ongoing basis with the possibility for full time employment.

Role of a Class 1 HGV Driver:

* Tramping - Wood Chip - Walking floor

* Starting times 05:00 – 07:00 DAYS

* 5 Shifts per week Monday – Friday (occasional weekends available)

* Walking floor. (Training provided)

* 2-4 drops

* Average 12–13-hour shifts

Class 1 HGV drivers will be required to complete an induction and assessment prior to commencing work. If required full training will be given on the walking floor element. The work may start from either site at Rotherham or Widnes.

Class 1 HGV drivers will require:

* Valid UK HGV licence for 12 months or more.

* Must have a minimum 6-month previous HGV driving experience.

* Digital tachograph card CPC card.

* Be professional and presentable at all times.

* Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

* Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.

* No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99
