HGV Class 1 Driver

ARC Group are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join a contract in Manningtree for an ongoing contract that is planned to go on until October, this has the potential to be extended.

To be applicable for this job you must of held your class 1 licence for a minimum of 12 months, experienced within refrigeration and containers.

This is a 24/7 contract, supplying across the UK all year round. We have allocated trucks that need be in operation 7 days a week.

The work is broken down into shifts:

• Weekday - Days OR Nights
• Weekends - Days OR Nights
• AM Shifts start 0500/#####
• PM Shifts start##########00

You will be allocated a truck and share this space with another driver who works the opposite rota to you. It is important to respect the truck you are in and look after your space.

All details will be explained in an induction however you will be:

• Responsible for the safe delivery of products and paperwork
• Unloading deliveries
• Follow instructions provided on email/tablet

The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will have:

• At least, a minimum of 12 months experience driving a HGV, Class 1
• Clear communication skills
• Manouvering in tight spaces
• A good understanding of English
• Container experience
• Valid CPC and Tacho card
• Full UK licence
• Valid right to work
