HGV 2 ADR DRIVER

Resolve Recruitment are working with a fast growing family owned laundry company based in the Birmingham area. They are now looking for a Class 2 ADR Driver to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis.

The Job;

• Vehicle safety checks.
• Complying with driver/working hours rules in conjunction with the Transport Manager
• Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy.
• Unloading and loading the vehicle effectively.
• Undertake specific duties when instructed by the transport leader
• Collecting and delivering cleaning textile laundry from various companies to be cleaned
• Dealing with customers face to face to promote and grow the company brand
• Following specific rules and regulations put in place by the company to ensure that standards and health and safety measures are met at all times
• Building and maintaining customer relationships

The Person;

• Must be physically fit due to nature of role
• Must be able to work well in a team as well as individually
• Must be able to self-motivate to work to optimum fuel/mileage KPI's (may be better way of saying it)
• Must be presentable, approachable and professional at all times
• Must have a valid full UK Class 2 Licence
• Must hold a valid UK CPC and Digi Card
• Must have proof of right to work in the UK
• Physically fit due to the nature of the job - repetition
• Must have no more than 6 points and no driving bans
• Must hold a valid ADR packages licence preferred but not essential for the right candidate
• Must be able to do 3 nights out per week

The Rewards;

• Temp to Perm
• £31,990.40 per annum based on 40 hours a week
• No sleeper cabs, nights out will be hotel based
• No weekend or night work
