Heavy plant mechanic required. Our client is a leading supplier of hire equipment across the United Kingdom & Ireland. They are seeking a skilled heavy plant engineer to join their team based in Cookstown in the workshop. The correct candidate must have previous experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant equipment and strong mechanical skills. The candidate must be within a commutable distance of Cookstown

Heavy Plant Mechanic Position Overview

• Maintain, service and repair on a range of heavy plant machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues in equipment and provide solutions to repair
• Adhere to workshop health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of services and maintenances
• Work well individually or as part of the team

Heavy Plant Mechanic Position Requirements

• Previous experience and knowledge in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant
• Any relevant qualifications in plant maintenance
• Within a commutable distance of Cookstown
• Good all-round mechanical skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics would be advantageous.

Heavy Plant Mechanic Position Remuneration

• �33,000+ salary dependant on experience
• Monday-Friday 7.30am-5 pm
• Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rotational basis 7.45am-12.30pm
• 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
• Pension
