Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join our reputable construction equipment company based in Hampshire. As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing various types of construction plant machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment and contribute to the success of our clients in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on construction plant machinery, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, telehandlers, and dumpers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and proactively implement necessary repairs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including service reports, parts used, and time taken for each job.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide technical expertise and support when needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Heavy Plant Fitter, with a focus on construction plant machinery.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance, servicing, and repair techniques for various construction equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites for on-site repairs.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Package Offered:

• Competitive salary ranging from �35,000 to �40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
