*H&L Healthcare are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Support worker based in Cambridgshire. Our client is a Leading UK Healthcare provider who has built an excellent reputation over the years working with Children



*Offering Residential provisions for young people with learning disabilities along with behavioural concerns



*We have an opportunity for a Healthcare professional to join their team of staff within the residential homes in Cambridgeshire.



*This is a Full-time role for 40 hours a week working day shifts. Sleep ins will also be required. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.





*Applicants should meet the following criteria



· Care Certificate



· NVQ Level 2 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.



· Experience working with young people would be preferred but not essential.



· Experience working within the Healthcare sector is essential.



· Strong back ground working with young people.



· Full clean driving license is preferred.





*What are the key responsibilities of the role



· Ensure the smooth running of the working day by supporting the young people with their day to day living by providing a caring environment for every child so they can development to his or her full potential.



· Assisting with daily activities which can vary immensely. Activities can range from Horse riding & swimming to days out at the local shopping centre or trips to the local park.



· All staff must work together as a team to enable the 24-hour residential care that the young people require to maintain a safe and practical home and school environment.



· Concisely following all procedures and policies set by Ofsted to always ensure the safety of every young person and reporting any concerns to the appropriate person above.



· Offering a positive approach with all challenges that you may face on a day-to-day basis.



· Being a consistent role model for the young people to help inspire them to be the best version of themselves that they can be.
