We work in partnership with a number of NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide to provide patients with access to community services closer to their home, these include; Diagnostic Ultrasound, Gynaecology Services, diagnosis and treatment of Dermatological conditions, Ophthalmology services and the provision of extended Minor surgery procedures.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an Ophthalmology Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our ophthalmology clinic and the well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:Conducting eye examinationsPreparing consultation rooms for the clinicianEscorting patients to the clinician for further consultation or additional testsManage and enhance the overall patient experience, providing a welcoming and compassionate atmosphere. Conduct GDPR security checks with patients to safeguard their data and health.Assist medical professionals by handling patient data, ensuring all records are complete and accurateCollaborate with clinical staff to facilitate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and a seamless patient journeyEnsure timely completion of reports, including outcomes and provide any administrative support as neededStrictly adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment for patients and staffPlease note that as we run a 7-day service, you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/ 07:30 - 17:30/18:00Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw.
