You will have a strong background in a similar position within manufacturing.As the health and safety manager your main duties will be, but not confined to..Management of the Quality System Management and ownership of the ISO 9001 accreditation system Management, ownership of ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.
Ensuring all company procedures are fit for purpose and identifying improvement opportunities Ensuring all audits are up to data and any corrective actions are followed up Promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the business Monitoring company KPI’s and reporting on progress Working with the company Technical Manager ensuring all FCP requirements are maintained to meet the requirements of the CPR.
Investigation of Non-conformance Using the company 8D (Non-conformance) system, the compliance manager will act as a Champion to investigate any non-compliance and implement actions to prevent re-occurrenceHealth and Safety Management and ownership of the companies Health and Safety System via Citation Ensuring the company is legally compliant with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations Promoting a culture of good practice relating to Health and Safety at Work Performing all necessary Risk assessments and implementing actions ass necessary Reporting all Health and Safety matters Working with Manufacturing to produce safe working practicesThis is a permanent position, employed by the company from day one.
