As they embark on an exciting phase of growth, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager / Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.



Position Overview: They are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager / Senior Health and Safety Advisor with expertise in the data centre and clean room sector to ensure the highest standards of safety across their�construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures specific to data centre and clean room construction projects.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety training.

  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with health and safety requirements.

  • Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends to continuously improve health and safety practices.



Qualifications and Experience:




  • Minimum of 3�years of experience in health and safety management within the construction industry, with a focus on data centre and clean room projects.

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing health and safety on large-scale construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent is desirable.

  • Membership of IOSH or similar professional body is preferred.
