Health, Safety & Environmental Manager

Our client is a COMAH manufacturing business that is part of a global brand. As an ISO accredited business, our client is now looking to recruit a commercially minded HSE Manager to join their team in Chesterfield.Within this role you will report to the site manager and have responsibility for all EHS matters relating to the site, this will involve maintaining and developing the businesses ISO systems (#####, 45001)As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be the HSE advocate for the business who can work collaboratively with Managers to drive improvements.Responsibilities for this role include:
* Implementing and improving HSE processes
* Carrying out employee training
* Investigating any incidents/accidents in line with company procedure
* Training on H&S processes
* Undertaking site audits
* Working collaboratively with line managers to improve processesOur client is looking for a hands on HSE Manager who has experience/knowledge of COMAH and DSEAR regulations. You will ideally have knowledge of working within a fast paced manufacturing background and enjoy a hands on approach to health & safety.This is a site based role. Monday-Friday.
