Health & Safety Consultant

Role: Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant  

Location: Bristol office - Projects across the South West

Sector: Property & Construction 

Salary: Up to £48,000 + travel/ car allowance (£5,000) + industry leading benefits package 

Carriera is excited to partner with one of the UK's leading property & construction consultancies who operate across the UK, our client is involved in a multitude of projects within the built environment across their 12 offices. They work across the residential, commercial, defence, education, healthcare/ pharma, sport, hotel, leisure, transport, retail, manufacturing sectors offering a range of professional construction services.

The business is recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join the team, and act as a H&S/ CDM Consultant on a portfolio of schemes across the South West based from their Bristol office. Our client is happy to consider people from a Principal Contractor background who are looking to take the next step in their career and join a consultancy setting.

Responsibilities: 

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
• Carryout risk assessments, site inspections and site audits. 
• Manage the H&S file from project beginning through to completion.
• Review construction phase plans.
• Maintain pre-construction information. 
• Attend design team and client meetings.
• Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients and advise on 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards this)
• Professional membership to IOSH at Graduate level or capable of working towards this.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector for the last 2 years in a H&S capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
