Health, Safety and Fire Safety Manager

We have exclusively partnered with a leading University in London to appoint a Health, Safety and Fire Safety Manager. The aim of this role will be to work with all levels of University staff and contractors, you will be visible in both presence and support, enabling excellence in Health and Safety and Fire Safety. Leading a team of three Health and Safety Advisors, you will report into the Director of H&S. You will help to drive a Zero Harm culture, assist the Estates and Facilities Team to implement and maintain the H&S Management System and to identify areas of improvement.The Health, Safety and Fire Safety Manager will be responsible for:Support the Projects and Estates team in ensuring compliance across H&S, Fire Safety and CDMManaging a team of 3 Health and Safety AdvisorsProviding advice and guidance to staff at all levels of the organisation on H&S and Fire Safety issues.Leading the development of appropriate Risk Assessments, including Fire Risk AssessmentsPlanning and delivering H&S and Fire Safety trainingThe Health, Safety and Fire Safety Manager will have:A Degree or Diploma level qualification in Health and SafetyA Fire Safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH Fire CertificateExperience working within Higher Education or similar environmentsVacancy Reference: PR/027260Vacancy Owner: Nathan Thompson |
