Health, Safety and Environmental Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this growing Coventry based manufacturing company for a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer (HSE) due to ongoing growth.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the General Manager the role of Health, Safety and Environmental Officer will be responsible for all HSE issues across a busy manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include:

  Support the development and implementation of the site Health, Safety & Environment policies.

  Management (HSE) System in line with company expectations

  
  


• 
  

  Maintenance of records.

  
  


• 
  

  Support of timely Accident/Incident and Good Save reporting, escalation, investigation and close.

  
  


• 
  

  Co-ordinate and support the project management of Group initiatives and projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Support the businesses with regulatory compliance and certification including.audits/inspections, responses, and corrective action plans.

  
  

THE PERSON

To succeed in the role of Health, Safety and Environmental Officer you will need to demonstrate�experience in a HSE role, ideally from within a manufacturing, production or engineering business. You will need a relevant qualification in HSE e.g. NEBOSH Certificate as well as a good working knowledge of HSE legislation.Any experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes desirable.
