Join a leading biopharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area as a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, where your expertise will be pivotal in steering the site towards a proactive and sustainable future. As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will provide hands-on support, offering practical solutions and advice to ensure the site not only meets but exceeds environmental and safety standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HS&E legislation and liaise with authorities and trade unions on EH&S matters.
2. Drive the development of a positive safety culture, ensuring effective communication of safe working practices.
3. Oversee document control, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and compliance with ISO 45001 & 14001.
4. Provide comprehensive HS&E advice and support to leadership, fostering continuous improvement and strategic alignment across departments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant NEBOSH and IEMA certifications, with a preference for candidates holding a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
2. Proven experience in delivering health and safety advice within a multi-disciplinary organization, preferably within the pharmaceutical manufacturing and GxP / GMP environment.
3. A thorough understanding and practical experience with ISO 45001 & 14001 management systems. You will be a ISO 45001 lead auditor.
