My client, a leading supplier�of cast metal parts to the global Aerospace and Defence industries based in Rochester, are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible person to help support the delivery of a robust HSE culture throughout the business.



As a Health, Safety and Environmental Co-ordinator�you will work closely with the operational management team to:




  • Promote a safety-first culture and champion the company's environmental objectives.

  • Ensure the completion and revision of operational risk assessments and method statements.

  • Manage company's compliance with the requirements of COSHH, working�at heights, lifting equipment and manual handling

  • Investigate works accidents and provide procedural policy updates as needed.

  • Organise external regulatory checks for specialist activities such as noise, workplace exposure and emissions.

  • Prepare and conduct regular training sessions with�employees to ensure they are kept up to date with best practice.

  • Manage company HSE records



The successful candidate will have experience in a similar Health and Safety role and be comfortable training and presenting to groups.� You will also have:




  • A NEBOSH certificate

  • Demonstrable project planning and tracking skills

  • Excellent communication and stake holder management skills

  • A high level of IT literacy as much of the role will involve creating and delivering presentations.



Based from the Rochester�office standard hours are 37 per week, Mon-Thur 08.15-17.00�and�Fri 08.30-13.15.�
