The organisation has a large global footprint, and this role will be based at the company's manufacturing site in Borehamwood.This is a great opportunity to work in a tight knit organisation and help drive Environment, Health and Safety performance forward.Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include:Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for health, safety and environmentEngaging across the site to drive improvement within health, safety and environmentAuditing safety, health and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near missesEngaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulatorsLeading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and EnvironmentThe successful Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environmentNEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential)NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable)Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Excellent communication skills with experience in engaging with colleagues and a wide range of stakeholdersA strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety and environment legislationThis is an excellent opportunity to work for a world leading brand within their field in a professional working environment.
