Highly regarded main-contractor are seeking an experienced�Health &�Safety Advisor to join their well-established team in Newcastle. They have a healthy pipeline of work across the North East, focusing on commercial new build, fitout and residential. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction/civil sector.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with site staff and implementing health & safety strategies
- Reviewing and maintaining systems for the company and recommending improvements
- Working alongside a close-knit team but also in a very autonomous role
- Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager
- Assist with auditing and reviewing policies and procedures
- Monthly reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role
- Previous experience of working in the construction and/or civil sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CSCS�
- IOSH
- Full UK drivers license
