Our client in Thrapston is seeking a motivated, and detail-orientated Health & Safety Administrator to join their team.

This role will be working alongside the Health & Safety consultant to support with all aspects of administration whilst accurately maintaining their internal spreadsheets and database. Our client requires someone with strong attention to detail and a "can do" attitude who can manage their own workload effectively.

Duties and responsibilities for the Health & Safety Administrator role include:

  • Assist in the creation, editing and formatting of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Create and maintain accurate and organised digital filing systems.
  • Enter and update information in databases and spreadsheets. Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Help in creation and preparation of new starter Health and Safety packs.
  • Scanning of documentation.
  • Help to plan, coordinate and monitor Health and Safety activities.
  • Any other tasks required by the business.

Skills and experience required for the Health & Safety Administrator role:

  • Proven experience in an Administration Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in a Health and Safety role would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
