Health and Safety / Fleet Admin Officer

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 15 hours per week (two 7.5 days or 3 5-hour days)

Salary: £13.50ph

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Wholesale company. We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Birmingham for an experienced H&S Fleet Admin Officer.

Health and Safety

Co-ordinate weekly H&S checks with Branch Managers
Following up on any maintenance issues / repair works
Obtaining quotes and arranging repairs
Issuing uniform and PPE
Making sure First aid equipment is in branch
Organising fire and first aid training is in place
Completing Risk Assessments
(this may require occasional travel to other branches)
Recording accidents and reporting to HSE
Keeping H&S policies up to date and available online and in branch
Arranging H&S training
Fleet Management

Co-ordinating MOTs
Liaising with Insurance provider for any potential issue or risk
Lone worker risk assessments
Ensuring van checks are being carried out
Completing drivers checks
Required Skills & Knowledge

IT Skills including Microsoft word and excel
Accurate data entry
Able to prioritise a busy and varied work load
Teamwork and personal resilience
Attention to detail
