Health and Safety Officer required to join a leading UK Engineering business to work as an integral part of the core management team. The Health and Safety Officer will play a vital role within their management team, focusing on audits, advisory services, and accident investigations.

Health and Safety Officer’s Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance and perform audits.

Provide effective communication and health and safety advice to clients.

Conduct thorough accident investigations.

Maintain Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, including updating and implementing policies and procedures as necessary.

Adhere to all Legal & Company Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements:
Hold ISO9001 and ISO 400i Certificate.

Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety within a Construction or engineering environment.

Experience as an internal auditor.

Valid driving license.

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Practical auditing experience of ISO 45001 and ISO14001.
