Health And Safety Manager

I have a role with a leader FMCG company based in Glasgow, who are looking to bring on a Health, Safety and Environment Manager.This is a very exciting role, in a very successful business where you can truly make your mark in a business that is experiencing double digit growth year on year.Responsibility:• Provide directional support for planning, measuring, reviewing, and auditing Health & Safety and Environmental activities.• Embed a continuous improvement and positive safety culture.Duties:• Develop and maintain site management systems, procedures, and protocols.• Support Site Management Teams in delivering a consistent H&S program.• Review and develop Health & Safety policies, ensuring implementation.• Proactively work with managers to establish and maintain continuous improvement in H&S.• Maintain rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems.• Provide comprehensive information and training on Health & Safety systems.• Drive environmental initiatives and manage the site Environmental Policy.• Skills & Experience.The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry with strategic planning and development of safety cultures.Knowledge of HSE standards and frameworks, as well related degree or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.Hours:• Mon - Thur 8am - 4.30PM• Fri 8am - 4PMPackageSalary: £45K-50K + Benefits packageIf this role sounds interesting, please reach out and I will call you with more information.I look forward to hearing from you
