Health and Safety Manager
Monday - Friday, 40 hour week
About the role:
Responsible for driving forward the Health and Safety agenda across site, whilst guiding employees towards a positive health and safety culture and ensuring the company complies with all H&S legal obligations.
Role Details:
* Implementing new H&S proccesses and improving old processes.
* Lead on obtaining and retaining relevant accreditations.
* Setting up and maintaining health and safety reporting procedures.
* Propose sustainability initiatives, such as reducing carbon emissions, minimising waste and implementing eco-friendly practices.
* Implementing and leading Lean 6 Sigma initiative across site.
* Delivering H&S inductions to the new starters.
* Writing and delivering on site training programmesrelated H&S matters
* Develop Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Working Practices.
* Managing First Aid and Emergency Evacuation teams.
* Carrying out regular site tours to provide visible H&S leadership within the company.
