Questech Recruitment have a rare opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join their client in Wakefield either on part time basis.

The hours can be flexible to suit candidates that are looking for reduced hours.

This would suit candidates that are Wakefield based and that have experience of working within a Health and Safety role.

This role would suit someone that has worked as a Health & Safety Officer / Health and Safety Manager / Health and Safety Co-ordinator / H & S / Health and Safety Lead / Health and Safety Advisor

Our client is a leading Manufacturer with year on year growth and is looking to add an additional Health and Safety Manger to cover the 2 sites across Wakefield.

This is a stand-alone role and will be reporting into the Production Director.

The role:

• Preparing risk assessments and safe working procedures


• Process improvement


• Reporting on any Health And Safety issues to Directors


• Manage incidents and near misses, reporting and analysing and implementing improvements


• Managing risk assessments, safe working systems, checklist, employee documentation


• Overseeing correct PPE and employees for Employees

To apply for this role you must have the following experience or knowledge:

• NEBOSH qualified


• Proven track record in managing and implementing Risk assessments


• Be able to work under own initiative


• Produce Health and Safety reports


• Have a full UK licence
