We have an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional to join our client who operates in the Not for Profit sector.  The successful Health and Safety Coordinator will manage their own diary and be responsible for conducting audits, training and risk assessments. You will be the go to person for all H&S related queries and questions, providing advice, support and guidance across the organisation. This position is based in Bristol and will involve working on a multi site basis.


The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for:


  • Coordinating and supporting all Health and Safety activities
  • Promoting and developing the client's safety culture, acting as the focal point for training
  • Ensuring compliance across a varied property portfolio
  • Liaising with all locations to ensure that the online Health and Safety Management System is regularly updated and maintained


The Health and Safety Coordinator will have:


  • The right to work in the UK and a full UK Driving Licence
  • NEBOSH General/NCRQ Certificate or equivalent; ideally Tech IOSH
  • Health and Safety experience ideally within property, retail or similar sectors
  • Demonstrable experience of coordinating and maintaining a Health & Safety service across multiple locations
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders
