Job DescriptionHealth & Safety Advisor - BirminghamSalary £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)36.5-hour week - Daily hours of 7.5 Monday to Thursday and 6.5 Friday. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members and clients across the UK.Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of experts to write CDM documentation and procedures.Conduct nationwide site inspections and audits to uphold H&S compliance standards.Engage directly with contractors and site management to provide support, education, and guidance.Assist senior members in fulfilling the role of CDM Advisor/Principal Designer for a prominent hotel and hospitality provider in the UK.Key Responsibilities Include:Preparation of pre-construction information.Reviewing construction plansConducting risk assessments, and method statements.Providing expert advice on CDM2015 regulations.H&S Project set up.Providing essential administrative support.Conducting site inspections and monitoring visits to ensure Health & Safety compliance.Ensuring projects are completed efficiently within budgetary constraints.Providing support to senior staff on H&S related issuesExperience and Skills:A health and safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate is advantageous but not essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Background or experience in the construction industry.Understanding of CDM regulations 2015.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proactive, professional, and personable demeanour.Possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as travel to sites across the UK will be required.To embark on a rewarding career journey where your talents will be recognised, and your contributions valued.
