Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator for our client in Fresh Produce based in Maidstone in Kent. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring information is accurately recorded, monitored and maintained. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the staff, visitors and contractors are complying with company policies and procedures, promoting a positive health and safety culture across the sites, seeking best practice at every opportunity.

The Person

Suitable applicants would have a basic understanding of UK H&S law and preferably have experience within Fresh Produce or FMCG industry. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license due to the potential need of travel between sites.

The Role requirements

* Inputting data and maintaining the health and safety training database

* Deliver basic health and safety training

* Carry out health and safety checks and inspections

* Assist in annual H&S assessment reviews and updates

* Assist in accident & incident investigations / undertake low risk investigations where required

* Maintaining contractor’s database and ensuring all H&S information is provided in a timely manner
