Head Sourcing – Professional Services Management, London
Description:
As the Global Director for Professional Services, you will be heading our Sourcing for Professional Services for our international clients across different industries.
You will be responsible to maintain the best-in-class sourcing practice for the Professional Services categories (consulting/advisory, audit, tax, etc) to ensure the highest service delivery for our clients. You will provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that we enhance our strong market position on a global level – with locations spread across Europe, Asia and Americas.
Your tasks:
· Leading the global sourcing organization functionally for Professional Services services to achieve our strategic goals as well as always assuring the highest client satisfaction.
· Ensure defined savings targets are met or exceeded.
· Managing the capacity, team set up and performance of the global sourcing community.
· Constantly coach and develop global sourcing community.
· Partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and results.
· Keeping an overview of the sourcing performance and supervising the sourcing pipeline.
· Managing relationship with key client stakeholders (C-Level), suppliers, and strategic business partners.
· Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, client / quality focus and encourages individual integrity across the team.
· Maintaining a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attract, retain and motivate a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels.
What we expect:
· Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in managing client-facing operations with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team.
· Experience in procurement or Professional Services with a strong commercial/consulting background, with a high focus on negotiation capabilities, strategic procurement expertise as well as analytical and critical thinking skills. We welcome experienced leaders from the Professional Services community that worked on the other side of Procurement: e.g. in Sales, Key Account Management.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and client-orientated mindset combined with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, deadline driven and extremely rapidly changing environment.
· Execution excellence: Resilience, getting things done and multi-task, acting with a sense of urgency, willingly takes on tactical roles to achieve objectives, ability to prioritize and excellent decision making/judgment skills.
· Breadth of leadership experience (have led comparable teams) and track record of team building: The ability to inspire and motivate others, to attract, develop and retain talent, to receive support and trust from all levels of the organization.
· A team builder with a collaborative aptitude and mindset with the ability to take on a leading role when appropriate.
· Innovative and pro-active thinking to create solutions to improve service delivery / customer experience.
· In-depth understanding of client’s industry demands and needs.
· University degree and long-term professional experience / industry expertise.
· 10+ years of experience in procurement or Professional Services.
· Senior leadership experience.
