Head of UK Online Channel Marketing and Campaigns

Oversee day-to-day delivery of UK Marketing Calendars for online marketing channels and JBP’s (joint business plans) across UK online trading channels, in close collaboration with UK Creative, Sales, Finance and Ops teams, across ECOM.UK, Digital Marketing, CRM, Etail & QVC.Contract type: permanent37.5 hours
Key Responsibilities·
Work in conjunction with Marketing Director to set annual UK Online Marketing strategy, aligned to Global Marketing and UK Regional Business Strategy, ensuring activation in each channel complements channel objectives and avoids channel-conflict across UK customer touchpoints
·
Effectively lead direct reports across UK Online Marketing channels; E-commerce, E-tail partners & QVC for delivery of UK-localized Digital-first annual marketing calendar, to achieve budgeted KPI’s.
·
Implement all annual activation plans and calendar launches on time & within designated budget in these channels, to align with the annual UK Omni channel marketing strategy, plus reflect the ELEMIS brand vision, brand standards and brand tone-of-voice, set by Global Marketing.

Work closely with Head of CRM to ensure there is a holistic marketing approach for E-commerce and that content pillars are aligned across CRM & E-commerce and in keeping with our brand social strategy.

Lead and manage a team of best in class marketeers with a “Social First mindset”
·
UK Online marketing areas currently include; D2C site, Look Fantastic, ASOS, Cult Beauty, Next, Very, All beauty & QVC.
·
Work in collaboration with Head of UK Retail & Campaign planning to build out a comprehensive UK sampling strategy across core & key NPD to drive strong sales conversion across key skus.

Work in partnership with Commercial teams & Head of UK Retail, Spa’s & Salons & VM,
to build a strategic kit strategy across key UK partners- owning this process and tracking from concept to execution.
| Essential ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Channel Strategy & Planning·
Work with the Marketing Director & direct reports, to build and execute the annual UK Marketing Calendar for including ECOM.UK, Etail, QVC, ensuring effective omni-channel and cross-functional collaboration.·
Lead with Social-first thinking, to execute and activate a strategy to drive performance of NPD launches & Core product repulses, through the delivery of strategic promotional plans (in collaboration with Commercial team), Social, Digital, Eventing, CRM and Sampling, leading teams to innovate all Marketing collateral in these channels.·
Enhance collaborative working processes across E-commerce, E-tail & QVC teams to ensure that business priorities are clear and communication cross channel is best in class.·
Build a close partnership with each channel’s sales and commercial finance teams, to align all marketing spend to commercial KPI’s, to deliver the annual budget, plus manage all activation within FOC and marketing budgets. Ensure this is reported on for all key activations in a timely manner.·
Working closely with Marketing Director & Head of UK Retail, Spa’s & Salons & VM to build close relationships with US peers across these channels, to share learnings, assets, build on marketing ideation, and collaborate on marketing collateral, to maximize resource, drive cost efficiencies, plus align the brand, where possible.·
Provide the team with industry insight, competitor trends and wider business acumen, to help support elevation of marketing ideation and activation, to be best in class, and maintain No.1 Luxury British Skincare Brand positioning across all channels.·
Manage with direct reports, exclusive activity requests for the UK team via the channels and assist all channel sales teams with any specific UK requirements, ensuring that these additions are commercially viable. Ensure all pricing and costings for channel marketing activation are within the business guidelines and signed off within the correct business processes.·
Be the senior marketing lead at all external partner meetings to drive Online Marketing channels joint-business-plans (JBP’s) in-line with Commercial and Marketing A&P/FOC budgets Be the key point of escalation contact for any UK Online Marketing retailer queries, with a positive and problem solving mindset. ·
Inspire and bring passion to the role and team, while ensuring a “Consumer first” mindset is at the forefront of all key marketing activation plans to provide a holistic, consumer centric approach for all key moments.

Inspire, nurture & develop direct reports to ensure learning and development is at the forefront of the teams mind on an ongoing basis.

Manage the UK Retail Marketing & VM budgeting process, ensuring that all budgeting activation is completed within a timely manner and communicated to stakeholders.

Alongside direct reports act as UK Brand guardians across Online Marketing & QVC partners, ensuring ELEMIS Global Brand standards and consistency is achieved via partners ongoing, with regular updates to Brand Rooms, Content pages, and general site updates.E-commerce·
Build best in class relationship with Head of E-commerce & Senior Content/Digital Marketing Manager to build out a robust E-commerce Marketing calendar that drive E-commerce channel as ELEMIS’S digital flagship.·
Alongside with Head of E-commerce & Senior Content/Digital Marketing Manager build and maintain a robust exclusive offering calendar for ELEMIS.com, ensuring a consumer first mindset is at the forefront of all proposals.·
Work with wider E-commerce team & Senior Content/Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that ELEMIS.com marketing calendar is in line UK marketing calendar.·
Continuously assess & identify key areas for opportunity to drive ELEMIS.com to meet the LRP KPI’s – working with the wider e-commerce team to share ideas & collaboratively build out proposals to key stakeholders to seek investment required for such ideas.·
Work closely with Head of Creative to ensure best in class content is at the forefront of all E-commerce activations and is consistent across all platforms·
Identify and propose ways in which we can authentically highlight our BCORP & sustainability values across .com site to further educate consumers around these key brand pillars.TV Shopping·
Support and develop Senior TV Shopping Marketing Manager to execute Digital-first Marketing strategy, with best-in-class campaign activation, to support QVC UK Promotional Calendar, achieving KPIs including commercial forecasts, new names, repeat purchase, market coverage (EMV and AVE) and effective stock sell-through.·
Deliver marketing activation at key TSV, POM and other ad-hoc commercial opportunities, with support across printed and digital customer communications including Paid Social campaigns, sampling, Direct Mail customer communications and other QVC acquisition- focused campaign tools.·
Be an integral member of the wider TV shopping team to bring new marketing ideas to department, focusing on Social and Digital-first tactics, to drive more value from existing customer base, whilst bringing new customers to ELEMIS from every activation.·
Work collaboratively with wider TV shopping team to lead approval of all QVC marketing activation, working with Head of UK Creative and QVC team, to deliver Global Brand standards, consistency and channel optimized creative assets, reporting on effectiveness post campaign.·
Lead sharing of marketing insights from UK QVC with Global QVC team, to improve future campaigns and establish new opportunities to drive performance.·
Work closely with Senior TV Shopping Manager to identify new opportunities within the digital and TV shopping space, to ensure ELEMIS is consistently evolving and seeking new opportunities where relevant.Campaign Planning·
Alongside other key Marketing Department Heads build a strong UK Marketing Plan that supports UK Commercial KPI’s though strategic Product choice, with a consumer first mindset.·
Manage and lead the communication to the full UK team of the UK Marketing Calendar, ensuring this is communicated to all stakeholders in a timely manner.·
Work with other channels (Digital, Social, PR, CRM) to drive footfall into store with a social-first marketing activation at the core of all marketing investment.·
Lead the distribution of UK toolkit briefs to all UK Marketing channels to complete- ensuring timely deliver for creative team to execute.·
Support team to deliver engaging campaigns at the HOE, in-line with Global Marketing Calendar, using VM, Customer Communications, Eventing, Partnerships, Social Media, PR, and Influencers, to create a reason to visit the house.·
Ensure at least 2 x yearly a core repulse of key sku’s are delivered with an innovative and disruptive marketing campaign.·
Ensuring best in class processes are in place to ensure smooth delivery of all marketing campaigns and that commercial KPI’s are a key measure of success.People Management Responsibilities·

Educated to degree level in Marketing.·
Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent.·
Robust and in-depth experience within UK online retailers is essential.·
Experience in leading a team, in a fast-paced, everchanging culture, will benefit performance in role.·
Experience working with senior management (Directors and Board-level) with proficiency in presenting recommendations for marketing spend and projected investment ROI.·
Confident leading teams and meetings, with clear agenda, actions, and progress reports, to maximise efficiency of team resource.·
Operational knowledge of Global Marketing structure is helpful.·
Must possess a real understanding of consumer & product insight and customer needs, with thorough understanding of how to maximise data·
A thorough understanding of marketing mechanics in a complex organization is essential.·
A proven track record of executing 360 degree marketing campaigns from concept to launch.·
Established relationships with UK Online Marketing Retailers·
Strong budget management experience, and commercially minded, with a proven track record in delivering positive ROI.·
Experience of leading, creating, and protecting a brand’s identity, with excellent attention to detail for proofing and approvals process.·
