Our client is an award-winning online leisure travel company who specialise in long haul luxury destinations.

Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a head of travel technology.

This is a key role contributing growth strategy being able to manage existing systems implement new cutting-edge technology to ensure a competitive edge.

The head of travel technology will be able to bring in and implement innovative ideas, reporting directly into the CEO, to improve processes and efficiency.

Candidates must have a technology background gained within the travel industry; this is essential.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis - 2 days in the office - Central London.

Head of Travel Technology Responsibilities and Duties:

Contribute to the development and execution of the business's growth strategy through continuous innovation and the pursuit of excellence in systems and technology.

Oversees all business systems, including their bespoke quoting system and CMS, booking system and third-party integrations and the technical performance of the website.

Ensures effective and timely operation of systems to ensure business continuity.

Working alongside the Head of Growth and Strategy to coordinate and implement the CRM solution.

Enhance backend processes, systems, and tools, driving operational excellence and supporting the company's growth strategy.

Third party supplier management including scoping, coordination, project management and budgets regarding the booking system, partner integrations and third-party systems.

Head of Travel Technology Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a senior role within technology in the travel industry is essential.

Extensive experience in building and managing complex software systems and integrations with third party systems.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems, applications, and integrations.

A strong team player with excellent soft skills in the fields of emotional intelligence, communication, and stakeholder management.

Base Salary to £75,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
