Head of Training Operations with experience in the delivery of training and teaching environments, with excellent leadership/management skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret data is required for a well-established organisation based in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire.
SALARY: £45,000 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: South Kirkby, West Yorkshire (WF9)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent (Part Time working will be considered)
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week,Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 6.30pm (Evening and weekend working may be required)
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Head of Training Operationswith experience in the delivery of training and teaching environments, with excellent leadership/management skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
Working as the Head of Training Operationsyou will join a growing team and take the lead in scaling the organisation’s services and optimising their internal processes. This is a new role, responding to the success of their short course and Skills Bootcamp delivery over the last 12 months.
The Head of Training Operationswill be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the Head of Institute and other Directors on both their short course and wider education services.
As the Head of Training Operations, you will oversee the successful management, marketing, development, delivery and administration of a variety of established and new training courses for the creative industry, with a focus on live events and production.
You will engage with funding bodies, customers, academia and industry partners to develop new courses, services and student progression opportunities.

Leading & Delegation

Course design (in collaboration with Delivery Team and Quality Team)
Timetabling
Resource scheduling

Budgets and Audit
Documentation management
Maintenance and monitoring
Stakeholder Communication
Line Management
Training Team colleagues inc. Student Recruitment Officers and Career Coaches
Alongside the leadership team - Development and delivery of new opportunities
Funding applications
Entrepreneurial opportunities
Industry opportunities
Development of processes, systems and structure
Design and implementation of new processes and systems to benefit the team and culture, whilst improving resilience, profitability, efficiency and communication
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Leadership, delegation and the development of autonomous teams
Demonstrable commitment to developing new skills and personal professional development through reflective practice
Adaptable and resilient to meet and embrace changing circumstances and demands
Flexible approach to working, excellent time management and organizational skills

Attention to detail
Experience in the delivery of training and teaching environments, preferably in a creative industries setting
