Are you experienced in developing technical teams, policies and procedures within a multi-site manufacturing environment?

Chilled Food business
on the search for a
Group
Head of Technical.
This is a
perm
role based in the
North of England.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the multi-site technical department with diligence, independent judgment, and a values-led approach.
Leadership and development of the technical team across the business estate.
Align systems and processes across the cluster.
Working with the Leadership team, lead the development and delivery of the Food Safety & Quality culture across the business.
Develop appropriate KPI’s to monitor, maintain and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure transparent and strategic alignment with Customer expectations and requirements.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Serve as a trusted advisor on all Food Safety, quality, and technical matters related to the Cluster.
Optimise value across the technical estate.
What are we looking for?
MSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
Proven senior leadership experience in a technical management role within the chilled food industry for 5+ years.
Knowledge of HACCP (Level 4 minimum), BRC, and other food safety management systems including customer (retailer) standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Experience within chilled food production and can relate to the planned operational processes.
Salary – circa
£110k
+ car allowance + benefits.
