Head of Technical Talent Acquisition - GenAI Scale-up

Salary: Up to £130k + Equity options
Location: Central London
Working pattern: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
Hawkwood are currently working with one of the most exciting Generative AI scale-ups as they look for a Head of Technical Talent Acquisition in London!
This is a newly created role which will be responsible for leading their technical hiring teams. You will be managing a small team, overseeing hiring across the UK and EMEA. Within this role, you will be tasked with leading a high-performing TA team who are looking to engage with the top percentile of Computer Vision Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Research and Software Engineers.

What you can expect to be getting up to:
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with their business goals and growth plans.
Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
Build scalable recruitment processes to ensure that they continue to build high-performing teams, providing a world-class employee experience.
Enhance their employer brand to attract top talent by promoting their unique culture, values, and career opportunities.
Work closely with the Technical Leadership team to advice and guide on key technical hiring strategies.
Support with driving headhunting strategies, market mapping, candidate nurturing strategies, advising and guiding salary and total comp packages.
What we're looking for:
Strong track record of hiring the top percentile of Research Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering and Product talent at all levels.
Experience working within a deeply technical environment (Computer Vision Scientists, Machine Learning Scientists, Research Engineers, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role.
Engaged in the importance of employer brand along with expertise in assessing the effectiveness of branding, comms and outreach strategies.
Experience hiring across an internal remit (UK and EMEA).
