Competitive plus bonus and car allowance Senior Tax Manager - can be either Full-time or Part-timeThe Senior Tax Manager will work closely with the Group CFO and Head of Group Finance to manage tax matters to ensure the Company is fully tax compliant across both direct and indirect taxes, and benefits from an optimised effective tax rate. In addition, the Senior Tax Manager will develop and maintain relationships with HMRC and external tax advisors, and other stakeholders inside and outside organisation. This role would be the most senior Tax employee in the team.This role can be offered on a part-time basis of either 3.5 or 4 days a week. Most of the team are based in the Uxbridge office and operate on a hybrid model (around 2 days in the office).What you’ll be doing:Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions (e.g. restructuring and international issues).To develop and maintain relationships with HMRC, external tax advisors, and other stakeholders inside and outside organisation.Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities.Liaise with HMRC as required in relation to the PizzaExpress franchise / overseas operations.Complete the Tax computations for PizzaExpress entities and Ixbrl statutory financial statements.Manage the PizzaExpress Corporation Tax cash model.Reconciliation of the tax accounts in the General Ledger.To develop effective and efficient tax processes and controls, with appropriate process documentation.What you’ll need:Qualified ACCA, ACA, or similar CTA qualification with extensive post-qualified experience.Demonstrable technical tax experience and knowledge of legislation, across both direct and indirect tax.Experience working with or for a large, global business.Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems.Ability to work independently and completely ‘own’ their area.Excellent organisation and time management skills to drive and achieve deadlines.Outstanding influencing skills including the ability to flex communication styles across different cultures and levels.Up to 20% company bonus Car Allowance (£5.7K)Hybrid working available (2 days per week in the office)Monthly pay day drinks, with Pizza & Peroni & ProseccoMental Health First Aiders across the business, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme, providing health, finance, and wellbeing advice free of charge.Who We Are: Where those who love pizza can be their true self.
