Head of Sustainability PooleRubicon People Partnership's Specialist Sectors Division has been instructed by athriving family-ownedbusiness based in Dorset, to headhunt candidates for thenewly created positionof Sustainability Manager as they embark on anotherstage of significant growth. This is a full time, office based role as you will be working closley with multiple key stakeholders within the business, therefore this role will suit someone who is based within a commutable distance to Poole, Dorset.This remarkable organisation has experienced substantial growth over the past 12 months,doubling both its headcount and turnover. With sustainability being at the forefront of everything they do, from what they supply to how they supply it, this innovate business is aiming forNet Zero by 2035.As Head of Sustainability,you'll report directly into the Chief Operating Officer and play a crucial role indeveloping, implementing and managing the Sustainability & Enviromental strategyfor the business. You'll be steer heading themissionto minimise the impact on the environment by working with multiple departments to integrate safe,sustainable and responsible practicesinto business operations.As Head of Sustainability you'll have ownership for: - Developing and implementing a comprehensive Environmental & Sustainability strategy within supply chain and the wider business- Collaborating with internal departments to integrate Environmental & Sustainability considerations into the decision making process- Conducting a comprehensive assessment if the company's Scope 3 emissions, identifying key sources and developing strategies for reduction - Preparing and publishing regular Environmental and Sustainability reports, disclosing key performance indicators and progress towards sustainability goals- Develop and conduct training programs to increase employee awareness of E & S principles and practices- Create a company wide committee which will allow engagement, thought and input to the E & S strategyThe ideal Head of Sustainability will be able to demonstrate: - Proven experience in E & S management, sustainability or a related field- A strong understanding of E & S frameworks, standards and reporting requirements - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- An analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights- Understanding of ID(phone number removed)If you're enthusiastic about joining the journey to Net Zero and have a passion for sustainability projects, with thedrive and determination to make a real difference,please submit your application today or call Ellie Taylor at Rubicon Recruitment.ESG, SUSTAINABILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, GOVERNANCEINDSPE
