Overview The client I am working with is a UK & Ireland architectural practice that has been ranked in the Top 100 Best Large Sized Companies to Work for. They strive to create buildings that are both stylish and sustainable. They are looking for a Head of Sustainability to lead their inhouse team and drive sustainability ambitions.Role Responsibilities The Head of Sustainability will have a background in architecture and sustainability and have a genuine passion for design and research. In this role you will develop and track the sustainability roadmap, implement a sustainability platform within the company project information systems, accelerate the business to be zero carbon by 2023.A successful candidate will have
* Background in Sustainability/ Architecture is essential, ideally experience working in a UK design practice * Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical sustainability desins in a client facing manner * Expert in one or more of the following fields; whole life net zero carbon of buildings, embodied carbon, social value, WELL * Understanding of UK legislation and guidance in relation to sustainability issuesNext Steps If you have the suitable skills and experience please apply and our lead consultant Isabelle Cahill will be in touch.
