Are you an experienced and dynamic manager who is passionate about our oceans and wants to playan active role in safeguarding seafood supplies for this and future generations?Do you want to work with like-minded others to deliver sustainable seafood to consumers acrossthe globe?If so, you could be a perfect fit for the Marine Stewardship Council, and this could be theideal opportunity for you.We are currently looking to engage with experienced sustainability and / or supply chainstandards professionals, with a strong working knowledge of supply chain traceabilitydevelopments, proven project management skills and a passion for innovation, to join MSC's teamas Head of Supply Chain Program Innovation.This provides a tremendous opportunity for the right individual to make a significantcontribution towards the delivery of MSC's mission and strategic plans, through delivering thedesign, implementation and rollout of the MSC’s project to strengthen the traceabilitycredentials of the MSC program including the integration of new technology.You'll be a highly motivated and dynamic individual with:Proven complex project and program management skills and a record of successful deliveryProven team leadership skillsA good working knowledge of global supply chains and the key challenges and opportunitiesfacing themWorking knowledge of traceability opportunities, challenges and solutionsExperience of working with digital traceability systemsExperience working at a senior level in a multi-stakeholder organisation in the foodindustry, certification and standard setting organisations or sustainable managementAn ability to convey very complex technical information to a range of audiencesInterest in or knowledge of technology innovations in the verification arena.Please note this is not a logistical Supply Chain role. It may, however, suit technicalprofessionals who work for organisations within food and drink supply chains.Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK to apply for this role.Unfortunately, MSC are not able to sponsor a visa at this time.
