Head of Supply Chain Development & Analytics Head of Supply Chain Development & AnalyticsContract: PermClosing date: 24th MayRecruitment Partner: David Hancock - david..##### Head of Supply Chain Development and Analytics is a pivotal role and requires someone who is passionate about how projects, processes, systems, and data can make a real difference to business performance both today and in the future. Leading a team of subject matter experts and analysts, working closely with our Global Supply Chain and Research & Development (R&D) functions, and partnering with Information Technology (IT) you will identify, manage, and deliver continuous improvement programs which enable our overall No7 Beauty Company strategy. This is a permanent office-based role, located in Nottingham.About the roleThe Head of Supply Chain Development and Analytics sits in the R&D and Global Supply Chain function and is accountable for the creation of a Supply Chain development, continuous improvement and capability road map which enables our strategy and in year fiscal plans through successful project initiation and delivery (clear scope, on time, on budget and business case met). They will be a key contributor to the R&D development roadmap, including budgeting, tracking and risk management across all R&D system and business improvement projects. They will also play a key role in overseeing our Supply Chain and Operational analytics, transforming how we can leverage our data for reporting and insights.Leading a team of subject matter experts, analysts, and development / delivery managers (circa 17 people with 5 direct reports), you will report directly to the Vice President of R&D and Global Supply Chain and be a key member of their leadership team.Key responsibilities include:· Lead the Global Supply Chain development agenda for No7 Beauty Company, covering all aspects of Supply Chain - including supply networks, warehousing and logistics and reporting, processes, and capability· Work with all members of the R&D and Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and key stakeholders across No7 Beauty Company to identify all our requirements, ensuring these are built into the development roadmap, business processes and system solutions. Keeping stakeholders engaged in the development plan from concept to completion.· Manage the project portfolio and programme of change, ensuring workload, timing and budgets are balanced and focussed on our most important priorities.· Partner with IT to create systems roadmap across R&D and Global Supply Chain· Accountable for planning, and budgeting for R&D and Global Supply Chain, working with IT and Finance to agree capital and operational spend· Present R&D and Supply Chain project budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring they are monitored, risks and opportunities assessed and delivered· Provide supply chain analytics and reporting (ongoing performance management data, ad hoc analytics, and provision of long-range plans & projections)· Responsible for Operational Analytics to support data and reporting requirements for Global Sourcing, Quality and Sustainability· Develop the roadmap to enhance reporting and analytics to optimise our performance across No7 Beauty Company· Design and deliver capability programme that equips R&D and Global Supply Chain teams with the necessary skills to operate and drive value from new functionality / processes.· Represent R&D and Global Supply Chain on the SAP service board ensuring the SAP development plan meets the future needs of the business· Own relationships with key suppliers, for example E2Open· Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies· Lead teams to create a empowered, expert, and high performing organisation who role model our culture and behaviours· Lead by example for our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda.· Track progress of ‘Our Voice, Our Future’ engagement surveys - creating and delivering action plans to address key feedback and opportunity areas.What you will need to haveProven experience (circa 10 years) in a leadership role overseeing operational development, continuous improvement, project management or Supply Chain ideally in a CPG businessUnderstanding of Supply Chain Management (demand & supply planning, S&OP, warehousing & logistics, order management) and Supply Chain systemsExperience of working in partnership with IT and related technical functionsBudget building and management experience.
