You’ll be coming in to work under a fantastic Technical Director and will have freedom to make decisions and work with autonomy. You’ll be setting and driving the supplier standards, ensuring collaborative alignment with the overarching technical strategy.

As Head of Supplier Assurance you will be setting the compliance across all supply chains, ensuring that company, customer and legal requirements are fully implemented. You’ll also be the main point of contact both internally and externally for all suppl base management, conformance and approval, covering both new and existing suppliers.

You’ll be responsible for the management of the site based raw materials teams as well as the finished product specification teams.

As the initial point of contact for all new suppliers, you’ll ensure the on-boarding process is completed in full and to a fully auditable standard within the system, mirrored across the sites risk assessments. You’ll also ensure a robust and repeatable risk assessment process is in place for all new ingredients and/or for changes to existing suppliers.

You’ll also be conducting horizon scanning for both existing and emerging threats across the supple bases, communicating this internally across the wider group and any customers as required. Ensuring all identified risks are documented and where possible – mitigated!

There is travel involved throughout the year both national and international, but mainly when conducting approval audits for new suppliers.
