This truly is a unique opportunity to join a highly important charity who do incredible work for communities, schools and many other groups across London.The Royal Parks is a charity that manages over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park. They also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens.The eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year. The charity is commercially driven and raises its income through various ways including large events such as Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and the British Summer Time concerts.The Head of Strategy and Portfolio Office will lead, champion and be responsible for delivery of the corporate strategy, business planning and overseeing the portfolio of change.
