You will... Leading the FP&A/Strategic Finance function at Freetrade including: Mentoring and managing a small and high performing FP&A teamOverseeing the monthly management information (financial and non-financial) and associated reporting processesProviding regular updates to the relevant stakeholders (e.g. Exco, board members, external stakeholders and investors)Financial modelling for ICARA, Solvent Wind Down Plan and highlighting implications on capital and liquidity planningWorking closely with the other team members within Finance and within Freetrade to effectively collaborate and stay ‘relevant’ Leading the budgeting and forecasting process at Freetrade including: Driving the budgeting and forecasting process from start to finish alongside an associated operational planReviewing and owning the financial models (including headcount and individual product models, if any)Discussing with key business owners their budgetary inputs, implications and challenging the outputs as requiredDriver to capital and cash planning, scenarios and interaction with regulatory and treasury teamsSupporting board and executive presentations for all the above Leading on commercial finance activities to drive insight and value for the business - for example: Business partnering with key stakeholdersEngaging with product owners on new product initiatives, pricing and other similar commercial finance activitiesEngaging with marketing team to monitor their performance metrics and collaborate on changes to marketing plansLeading the procurement process as well as the high value contracts commercial negotiations at Freetrade by working with relevant functions within the business (e.g. compliance, risk, legal) as well as an external procurement partnerDriving insightful analysis to influence the business to make decisions based on data Supporting fundraising activities including: Liaising with external advisers when requiredLeading the financial aspects of fundraisesDriving the pitch deck and financial model for the relevant fundraisesYou have...Proven track record of strong business partnering and a commercial finance approach within the retail financial services industry10+ years of experience working within one or both ofHands on experience of running a FP&A /commercial finance function in a fast paced financial services businessesExtensive Big4 or M&A/transaction experience in the financial services industryStrong knowledge of the accounting and regulatory frameworks and application in a commercial environmentExcellent academics - with a degree from a top university (STEM or Economics is seen as desirable).Strong bias to action with a self starter attitude. A track record of raising the bar and problem solving.If you have experience of fundraising and supporting commercial outcomes this is seen as highly desirable.Benefits & Logistics The application process consists of a four stage process. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Partners, followed by a call with the hiring manager, the next stage being a task with the hiring manager and members of the wider team and final round of interviews digging into our values and overall company fit.
